“Qudsona Endowment” concludes the fifth training workshop within the International program on poverty eradication strategies for Jerusalem institutions

Jerusalem - The “Qudsna Endowment” Foundation, the executive arm of the Jerusalem Fund and Endowment, concluded the fifth workshop within the international program for “Training on Poverty Eradication Strategies” within the “Munib Al-Masry Chairperson to Empower Palestinian Charitable Societies with Social Responsibility Tools” project, funded by the “Munib and Angela Al-Masry” Foundation and organized by the Regional Network for Social Responsibility” and implemented by  Qudsona Endowment Foundation.

10 Jerusalemite institutions participated in this training project, namely: Silwan Al-Quds Club, Al-Quds Employees Club, Hilal Al-Quds Club, Qalandia Club, Al-Bustan Association - Silwan, Al-Quds Governorate, employees of Qudsona Endowment Foundation, the Refugee Girl Association, Bedouin Sports Club, and the Sons of Al-Quds Club. Under the supervision of training expert Professor Dr. Ali Al Ibrahim, an expert in the field of social responsibility and sustainable development in the State of Qatar.

The topics of the training program included the following areas: sustainable development, the historical beginning and development, the first goal of the global agenda for sustainable development 2030 and its goals, economic empowerment of beneficiaries through social investment tools, experiences and success stories, the Arab initiative for training in the field of social investment ending with economic empowerment.

Qudsona Foundation said, “Within the Foundation’s plan for 2023-2024 and the Community Development Program plan, the training project works on three main axes, which are developing the infrastructure of Palestinian institutions and associations, raising the capabilities of the administrative staff, and developing the activities of the programmatic plan.”

She added that "this project aims to strengthen the steadfastness of charitable institutions and associations and establish them in the city of Jerusalem to preserve their Palestinian identity in particular and in Palestine in general, as well as raising awareness for the staff of Jerusalem institutions so that the institutions can work with the beneficiaries in a professional and organized manner."
