Qudsona Endowment supports summer camps in Jerusalem
Jerusalem - The Qudsna Endowment Foundation, in partnership with the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and the Jerusalem Governorate, contributed to the project to support summer camps in the city of Jerusalem for the year 2023.
This project comes within the program of the Community Centers Network, and within the vision of Qudsona Endowment Foundation, to activate Jerusalemite clubs and invest in the leisure time of Jerusalemite children and youth, in a way that contributes to developing their capabilities and strengthening their national identity.
For his part, Moatasem Abu Gharbiyeh, Director General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports - Central Branch, said, “The Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, through its leadership represented by Lieutenant General Jibril Rajoub, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, and His Excellency Minister Issam Al-Qadoumi, Secretary-General, has decided to continue sponsoring and supervising the summer camps.” For the pioneers, for the eighth year in a row in the homeland and the diaspora.”
He added, "The number of camps this year reached 648 camps, distributed throughout the country in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, and Jerusalem. Despite the financial hardship, Jerusalem's share was 18 camps, distributed across the area of the Jerusalem Governorate, inside and outside the wall. They continued from 10 to 24 July in cooperation with the permanent partners from Governmental, semi-governmental and private institutions, with the aim of making this national project a success, which aims to strengthen the spirit of citizenship, build personality, and improve and nurture talent, according to a purely national perspective.”
