HRH Prince Turki Al Faisal and Mr. Munib Masri announce the launch of Sheikh Sabah Al Sabah Program.
The first board meeting of Sheikh Sabah Al Sabah program took place virtually in participation of HRH Prince Turki Al Faisal, Mr. Munib Masri, Sheikha Suhaila Al Sabah, Mr. Michael Al Sayegh, Dr. Walid Al Wahib, Ms. Kawthar Al Muslim and Mr. Tayseer Barakat.
During the meeting, several important decisions were taken, most notably the launch of the first package of projects worth 750,000 thousand dollars; as Mr. Munib Masri contributed half a million dollars and the Palestinian community in Kuwait contributed a quarter of a million dollars. The contributions would be spent on establishing the Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah Center for Education and Holy Quran Memorization, as well as the scholarships and relief projects.
