Alquds for empowerment and development continues to provide scholarships for Jerusalemite students in Palestinian universities

Alquds for Empowerment and Development,  the implementation body of Alquds Fund and Endowment Group, continues to provide hundreds of new scholarships for Jerusalemite university students for the academic year 2021-2022 within the Jerusalem Student Grants and Lending Fund project.



The Acting Director-General Mr. Taher Al-Disi, said that the program to support Jerusalemite students continues for the seventh year in a row, achieving progressive growth, by providing scholarships to hundreds of Jerusalem students in various Palestinian universities and in various specializations.

These scholarships include 7 universities; Al-Najah, Birzeit, Al-Quds, Bethlehem, Al-Quds Open University, Palestine Ahliya University
 and Modern University College. The value of these scholarships is estimated at  $300,000, while the number of students  419  students (both male and female)

The Student Grants and Lending Fund programs are implemented by  Alquds  Fund and Endowment and aim to enable students to complete their university education and empower them economically and socially. The program includes a volunteering and affiliation project to promote volunteer work and community service for students benefiting from grants, as well as a project to build students’ capacities and enhance their life skills through specialized courses and workshops.
